The name KYRGIAS appears on the Greek market, in the field of hunting items, as early as 1927. The founder is Kyrgias Georgios. In the interwar period in Greece, he pioneered by manufacturing single-barreled American-style weapons. The company progresses over time and the succession at the reins of management becomes a family affair and in 1971 Michael Kyrgias begins to manufacture hunting cartridges in its new factory, giving a dynamic presence. At the same time, it is active in the entire field of hunting items (hunting weapons, cartridges and hunting items). It acquires a large number of customers throughout Greece. It opens a retail store in the center of Thessaloniki in order to be able to assess for itself the movement of the hunting items it sells. Having now gained the trust of its customers throughout the territory, the company grows continuously, increasing its turnover. In 1998, the company's last relocation to date took place in Neochorouda, Thessaloniki, in privately owned premises of 35,000 sq m, with covered areas of 5,000 sq m where the state-of-the-art warehouses of weapons and other products it sells are located. In the same premises, the modern cartridge manufacturing factory also operates (with a production capacity of 160,000 cartridges per day) featuring the most modern cartridge production machines in GREECE, which are fully automated with production capabilities of all types and all calibers of cartridges, with a ballistic control station for the produced cartridges and storage areas for 30,000 kilograms of gunpowder and 9,000,000 pcs. cartridges, fully harmonized with all safety and proper storage rules.
